Day 1:
Arrival to Cairo international airport, meeting & assistance through
passports and customs formalities by the representatives of Continental
Tours. Transfer to the hotel by private car or air-conditioned bus.
Overnight.
Day 2:
After breakfast, start a full day visit of the Citadel of Salah Eldin,
Mohammed Ali Mosque, and proceed to the Egyptian Museum, which contains
the fabulous treasures of Tutankhamun. In the afternoon, continue the tour
visiting the three Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple and
the Papyrus Institutes. Back to hotel.
In the evening, attend the Sound & Light
Performance at the Giza Pyramids & the Sphinx (optional).
Day 3:
After breakfast, transfer to Cairo airport for departure to Abu Simbel.
Arrival to Abu Simbel airport and transfer by bus to visit the Great
Temple of Ramses II, the Temple of Nefertari. Return by plane to
Aswan. Arrival to Aswan Airport, meeting & transfer to hotel
for refreshment. Early afternoon, start a tour visiting the High Dam, the
Old Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, the Temple of Philae, back to hotel.
Overnight.
Day 4:
After breakfast, sailing on the Nile visiting the Elephantine Island, the
Botanical Garden & the Agha Khan Mausoleum. In the afternoon,
continue to Aswan airport for departure to Luxor. Arrival Luxor airport,
meeting & transfer to hotel.
Overnight.
Day 5:
After breakfast, cross the Nile by motorboats to the West bank to visit
the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, Deir El Bahari and the
Colossus of Memnon, back to hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Karnak
& Luxor Temples, back to hotel. In the evening, attend the Sound
& Light Performance at the Karnak Temple (optional).
Overnight.
Day 6:
After breakfast, the whole day free at leisure with a possibility of having
a full day tour to Denderah & Abydos (optional). Afternoon, transfer
to Luxor airport for return flight to Cairo. Arrival to Cairo airport,
meeting and transfer to hotel.
Overnight.
Day 7:
After breakfast, the whole day free
at leisure with a possibility of having a one day optional excursion to
Alexandria
(3 hours drive from Cairo) or to the Oasis of
Fayoum (1 hour drive from Cairo).

Day 8: After breakfast, transfer to Cairo international airport for final departure. Assistance through formalities by the representatives of Continental Tours.
