Day 1: Arrival to Cairo international airport, meeting & assistance through passports and customs formalities by the       representative of Continental Tours. Transfer to hotel by private car or air-conditioned bus.
Overnight.

Day 2: After breakfast, start a full day tour to visit the Citadel of Salah Eldin , Mohamed Ali Mosque, and proceed to the Egyptian Museum, which contains the fabulous treasures of Tutankhamun.  In the afternoon, visit the three Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple and the Papyrus Institutes.
Late afternoon, transfer to the railway station for departure to Aswan by sleeper train (dinner & breakfast are served on board).

Day 3: Arrival to Aswan, meeting & transfer to the Nile cruise. Embarkation and lunch on board. Start a visit to the Kitchener’s Island & the Agha Khan Mausoleum, back to cruise.
Dinner &  overnight on board.

Day 4: After breakfast, start a visit to the High Dam, the Old Dam, the Philae Temple & the Granite Quarries, back to cruise. Lunch on board and sailing to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo before sailing to Edfu.
Dinner & overnight on board.

Day 5: After breakfast, start a visit to the Temple of Edfu. Lunch on board and sailing to Luxor and visiting the temple of Esna on the way.
Dinner & Overnight on board.

Day 6: After breakfast, disembarkation from the Nile cruise in Luxor. Cross the Nile to the west bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Deir El Bahari and the Colossus of Memnon.  In the afternoon, start a visit to the Karnak & Luxor Temples.
Late afternoon, transfer to railway station for departure to Cairo by sleeper train  (dinner and breakfast are served on board).

Day 7: Arrival to Cairo in the early morning, meeting & transfer to your hotel. The whole day  free at leisure with the possibility of organizing an optional overday  tour to the Oasis of Fayoum (one hour drive from Cairo) or Alexandria (three hours drive from Cairo)..
Overnight.

Day 8: After breakfast, transfer to Cairo international airport for final departure. Assistance through formalities provided by Continental Tours representatives.
